We are currently looking to hire an experienced Staff Accountant to join our FTEP/Loan Staff Practice. This person will be dedicated to supporting our diverse client network in the LA area (from growth stage to Fortune 100), assimilating with client teams onsite for long-term project engagements in accounting.
Job Summary:
Duties for this staff accountant role are expected to include supporting the month-end closing process, bank reconciliations, balance sheet account analysis , expense accruals, and accounts payable, accounts receivable. This person will ideally be able to contribute by helping to refine processes, develop and implement strong internal controls, and establish policies and procedures. The right person can expect steady progression over time, tackling increasingly complex projects and growing into more senior-level positions!
Requirements
Corporate Accounting experience (General Ledger / ME Close)
Degreed in Accounting or Finance
Prior experience using large ERP systems (Netsuite, MS Dynamics, etc.)
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills including the ability to update existing reports and models as well as summarizing large data sets utilizing pivot tables, sum/subtotal functions and v/h-lookups.
Must be able to commute across the West Los Angeles OR San Fernando Valley
Must be able to work independently and adapt to changing priorities
Excellent verbal & written communication skills are required
Open minded & positive attitude is a huge plus!
