Robert Half Systems Business Analyst in Los Angeles, California
Description
Robert Half Management Resources is recruiting for a PeopleSoft Super User (Procurement SME) to support our non-profit client on a 5+ month hybrid engagement based in Los Angeles. This role will report to the Director of Procurement and will play a critical role in documenting the current processes and training the current staff on how to use the system and lend a hand to help the client prepare to migrate to a new ERP in late 2025. As they prepare to implement a new system, they have asked for support to get processes documented and flowing correctly, as phase 1 of this project. Phase 2 will see this resource helping to prep the data for migration into the new system. Deep experience within the contract and procurement modules, as well as AP, specifically, are musts here, as well as experience migrating contracts into PeopleSoft, documentation, and reporting (canned, custom, new build, and fixes).
Requirements
Experience with process documentation and system integration experience (data clean-up and migration)
Experience with PeopleSoft (version 9.2 would be ideal but not required)
Deep experience with Procurement, Contracts, and AP + migrating contracts is strongly preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Systems Business Analyst or in a related role
• Demonstrated expertise in creating and managing documentation
• Experience in Contracts management
• Familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP) processes
• Strong analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail
• Proven team player, with the ability to also work independently
• Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or a related field is preferred
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to resolve issues
• Must have a customer-centric approach to tasks and activities.
