CACI is looking to hire a Shipping & Receiving Clerk/Material Handler at our Los Gatos, CA facility. Under general direction, process incoming and outgoing shipments, perform stockroom activities, maintain inventory control system, and other inventory transactions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Meet delivery trucks, receive and process in-bound shipments.

  • Package and process outbound shipments. Schedule pick ups with Fed Ex, UPS and other carriers as needed.

  • Gathers raw materials from warehouse, stages and expedites materials for production. Transacts materials in ERP system.

  • Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage, document as necessary.

  • Put away stock in proper locations, update ERP system to reflect stock location.

  • Expedite high priority materials.

  • Perform cycle counts as directed.

  • Maintain Stockroom organization and cleanliness. Take out carboard.

  • Participate in special projects as assigned.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Experience with ERP/MRP software systems such as Infor or SAP

  • Strong communication skills

  • Highly organized, attention to detail

  • Ability to recognize, troubleshoot and resolve problems

  • Working knowledge of MS Office, and other common software found in an office environment

  • Ability to obtain hazardous material shipper certification

  • Positive attitude, ability to successfully adapt to change.

Minimum Education and Experience:

  • Associate’s degree and 2 years of related experience, or 5+ years of equivalent education, skills, and experience

Working Conditions:

  • Work is performed in a clean manufacturing environment, which requires proper safety precautions. Work may require physical effort in the handling of materials, boxes, or equipment up to fifty (50) pounds

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$45,400 - $90,900
