Description
We are offering an opportunity to join our team in LOUISVILLE, KY as an Accounts Receivable Specialist in the manufacturing industry. The role centers around maintaining and balancing cash accounts, handling collections, and backing up payroll and accounts payable functions. This role does not require a degree if the candidate has a significant amount of experience, particularly in manufacturing.
Responsibilities
• Oversee collections, making it a significant part of the job
• Handle cash posting duties
• Reconcile and balance cash in Plex
• Ensure cash is posted before the end of the month
• Act as a backup for accounts payable
• Report to the Accounting Manager
• Serve as a backup for payroll
• Utilize skills in account reconciliation, billing, cash applications, and cash collections
• Employ knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Maintain accurate customer credit records
Requirements
• Proficiency in account reconciliation is essential
• Must have experience with Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Knowledge of billing procedures
• Familiarity with cash applications is required
• Experience with cash collections
• Familiarity with commercial collections is preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
