Universal Health Services Activity Therapist - PRN in LOUISVILLE, Kentucky
Responsibilities
The Brook Hospital Dupont, located at 1405 Browns Lane, is seeking a PRN - Activity Therapist to join our team.
This position pays $30 - $35 per hour
Since 1985 The Brook Hospital has been offering hope to individuals, families, and communities. The Brook is the leader in providing quality mental health and addiction treatment services. The Brook – Dupont, located in Louisville, KY, is an 88-bed hospital offering a full continuum of inpatient, extended care, partial hospitalization and outpatient services for children and adults.
The Activities Therapist is a member of the multidisciplinary treatment team. Major job functions include obtaining psycho-social assessments; conducting family/group therapy on assigned cases; complete documentation per hospital policy and procedure; case coordination; coordinate discharge planning.
Job Duties
Assist in developing and maintaining community resource information; performs marketing functions as assigned;
Assists in the maintenance of the program environment in compliance with policies of safety and security;
Ensures good clinical judgment to ensure optimum patient care
Participate in continuing education activities
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
Required: Master's Degree from an accredited school in the Behavioral Sciences or Art or Music
Required: Must be licensed CTRS, LPATA, or LPAT are types of licensure required for Art or Activities Therapist
Preferred: One to three years inpatient behavioral health work
