job summary:
Costing Industrial Engineer for a leading contract packaging company based in Louisville, KY. This role is responsible to develop cost estimates for new and existing products. To be considered - Degree in Industrial Engineering with experience in production or assembly line operations/balancing.

Required Qualifications:
Degree in Engineering (Industrial Engineering is preferred)
Experience in production or assembly line operations and line balancing
Experience ing Industrial Engineering practices
Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred:
- Experience preferably in the production, packaging, or related industry

responsibilities:
Develop cost estimates for new and existing products and provide quotations for customer project requests
Identify costs associated with production lines and packaging of products and warehousing
Gather all necessary information for cost estimating and production lead times for requests
Apply Industrial Engineering, time study and standard data as needed for production direct cost calculations
Identify and quantify cost factors, such as line balancing, capacities, historical performance, downtime, efficiencies, and excess costs.
Maximizing process efficiencies analyzing line layouts, equipment set-ups, workflows, assembly methods, and work force utilization
