The landscape and lawncare specialists will be responsible for providing service to residential and commercial customers according to customer contract specs. Accordingly, landscape and lawncare specialists will cut turf, trim and edge borders, using power equipment; trim and prune shrubbery and low hanging trees to improve growth or remove damaged branches; perform weeding by hand or using hand tools such as garden hoes, etc.; clear out mulch beds of debris and leaves and properly reapply mulch to beds; correctly mix and apply lawn careproducts including fertilizers, herbicides and insecticides to spray or spread onto grass, shrubs, or trees using hand or automatic sprayers or spreaders and aerate lawns. Fertilizers, Herbicides and Insecticides include Urea Fertilizer 46-0-0, Starter Fertilizer 18-10-12, Dimension 2E PreEmergent Herbicide, TZone SE Herbicide, Surge Broadleaf Herbicide, TriTek Fungicide Miticide Insecticide, Imidacloprid Insecticide, and Bifenthrin Insecticide; install plant materials including sod, sow grass, mulch, and or flowers on job sites according to design specs; mow or edge lawns using mechanical equipment and machinery including commercial mowers, bed edgers, blowers, line trimmers, and hand tools; rake, mulch, and compost leaves and other plant materials; properly water lawns, trees or plants using portable sprinkler systems and other irrigation systems to reduce waste; and maintain irrigation systems.Worksite Locations: Work will be performed in Louisville, Jefferson County, KY and at multiple cities and towns in the counties of Bullitt, Hardin, Oldham, Henry, Meade, Shelby, Spencer and Nelson. Wage Offer and Availability of Overtime Pay: An hourly wage of $16.00 per hour will be paid for this position. Overtime hours may vary and will be paid at 1.5 times the regular hourly rate. Benefits: The employer will offer standard employee benefits in accordance with company policy. Single Workweek Pay: The employer will use single workweek as its standard for computing wages due. Frequency of Pay: Workers will be paid bi-weekly. Deductions from the Worker’s Paycheck: The employer will make all deductions from the worker’s paycheck required by law. Additionally, the employer will provide workers with all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the duties assigned without charge or deposit. Workers will be required to travel to unanticipated worksite locations within the Louisville, KYMSA and in the counties of Bullitt, Hardin, Oldham, Henry, Meade, Shelby, Spencer and Nelson. Employer will provide transportation to these worksites from its central office at no cost to the worker.Inbound/Outbound Transportations and Subsistence: If worker completes 50% of the work contract period, the employer will either arrange or pay directly for transportation and subsistence, or will advance at a minimum the most economical and reasonable common carrier costs of the transportation, and subsistence before the worker’s departure, or will reimburse the worker from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to help place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker’s voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. During travel, daily meals will be provided at a value /rate of at least$15.46 per day to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts. First Work Week Reimbursement: Workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (except passport fees). Provision of Tools, Supplies, and Equipment: The employer will provide workers, at no charge or deposit, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job. ¾th Guarantee: The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12 -week period of the total employment period.
