Job Title: Lead Audiovisual Technician
Location: Louisville, KY
Type: Contract to Hire
One of TEKsystems clients, a national leader in audiovisual (AV) commercial installation, is seeking experienced Lead Technicians to oversee field operations in the Louisville, KY market. This role is ideal for individuals with a robust AV background looking for an opportunity to manage projects and lead teams.
Top Skills - Must Haves:
Audiovisual expertise
Proficiency in Cabling and Installation
Experience with Video Support and Low Voltage systems
Knowledge of CCTV operations
Strong Troubleshooting and Technical Support abilities
Skilled in Wiring practices
Top Skills’ Details:
Minimum of 4 years of AV and/or low voltage technical experience
Commitment to excellent customer service
Ability to install, deploy, and repackage Rack/TV systems
Strong low voltage troubleshooting skills
Experience in supervisory roles and/or project management
Secondary Skills - Nice to Haves:
Familiarity with Cat6 and Cat5
Experience with Video Conferencing systems like Webex
Knowledge of Access Control
Proficiency in Punchdown techniques
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
In-depth understanding of Cat5/Cat6
Proven track record in commercial installation
Experience with AV console programming
Responsibilities:
Manage and execute AV installations and maintenance
Provide technical support and troubleshoot complex AV systems
Ensure customer satisfaction through exceptional service
Lead and mentor technical teams on-site
Coordinate with project managers to ensure timely completion of tasks
