How You'll Create Possibilities
Oversee and support a team of salary Engineers across all shifts, as well as collaborate with Controls Engineers, Union Skilled Trades, Team Leaders, and Process Improvement Engineers.
Lead the way in training and communication initiatives for hourly and salary maintenance employees.
Streamline manufacturing processes to enhance safety, efficiency, and capacity while maintaining top-tier product quality.
Participate in the development and integration of new equipment, ensuring readiness for production with preventative and total productive maintenance strategies in place.
Plan and implement Preventative Maintenance Activities , capital projects, and continuous improvement efforts.
Conduct root cause analyses to troubleshoot equipment issues and implement effective solutions.
Lead manufacturing process improvements to reduce waste, improve safety, and optimize production.
Manage facility infrastructure, addressing major maintenance issues with actionable plans.
Champion training initiatives for both hourly and salary staff to elevate technical expertise.
Collaborate with contractors and Advanced Manufacturing Engineers to meet equipment standards.
Promote a culture of accountability, coaching team members, and fostering strong cross-functional relationships.
What You'll Bring to Our Team
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent technical experience.
At least 5 years of experience in maintenance, mechanical engineering, or facilities in a manufacturing setting.
Expertise in PLC systems , robotics, and automation.
Prior supervisory experience with production operations and skilled trades teams .
Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
Proven problem-solving capabilities with a solid understanding of Lean and Six Sigma tools .
Preferred Qualifications:
Green Belt Certification or experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
Over 5 years of experience supporting maintenance operations.
A self-starter with the ability to balance multiple priorities and drive results.
