UPS Worldwide Forwarding, Inc. seeks Senior Software Development Engineer in Louisville, KY:Job Duties: Provide input, support, and performs full systems life cycle management activities (e.g., analyses, technical requirements, design, coding, testing, implementation of systems and applications software, etc.). Participate in component and data architecture design, technology planning, and testing for Applications Development (AD) initiatives to meet business requirements. Provide input to applications development project plans and integrations. Collaborate with teams and support emerging technologies to ensure effective communication and achievement of objectives. Provide knowledge and support for applications development, integration, and maintenance. Provide input to department and project teams on decisions supporting projects. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to UPS offices may be required.Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or closely related quantitative discipline, and one (1) year of experience in job offered or in any occupation in a related field.Special Skill Requirements: (1) Git; (2) SQL Server; (3) Visual Studio; (4) XCode; (5) Agile; (6) C#; and (7) Angular. Any suitable combination of education, training and experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option.
