Taylor Power Systems Rental Coordinator/Louisville/3505 in Louisville, Mississippi

Duties and Responsibilities:  Interact with our management, service, and sales team as well as our current and future customers. Work with our logistics team, independent transport companies, arranging transportation. Responsible for the day-to-day contract management to ensure contracts are being entered timely, accurately, and with proper documentation. Represent products to include Bell Articulated Trucks, the full line of Hyundai Construction Equipment, Sakai Rollers, SMI crushing and screening products, and Fecon Mulching attachments, as well as used construction equipment. Work closely with the Regional Sales Managers to assist them with quoting customers for both rentals. Utilize our new software system reporting function to produce daily, weekly, and monthly reports for the management team. Provide customers with accurate reporting and documentation. Coordinate, schedule and dispatch rental and sales equipment transportation. Assist any customers that walk in and need rental assistance. Manage fleet availability, utilization and returns. Make sure all customers have the correct insurance limits for renting and transporting equipment. Maintain the customer file regarding insurance and expiration dates. Assist in billing and calling off rental with the Equipment Coordinator. Participate in equipment training and learn to operate equipment. Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service. Any other duties as assigned by management.

 

Education and Qualifications: Self-starter who has a passion for building relationships to champion our Heavy Construction Equipment Rentals in TCE's area of responsibility. We currently have locations in 3 states including: MS, TN, and KY. This position will work out of our new facility in Louisville, Mississippi. Strong communication skills both written and verbal. Must be "outstanding" on the phone. Strong ability to build relationships within an organization. Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or peers in the organization. Ability to apply common sense understanding and problem solving, along with interpersonal skills. Excellent time management skills. Must live in the surrounding Louisville MS area. College education preferred, high school diploma or equivalent required. 3+ years' work experience in related fields. Previous experience in the construction industry or rental industry a huge plus Must have business to business experience related to industry, distribution, or manufacturing. Experience with and ERP computer system preferred. Microsoft Office Expert (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
