UCHealth RN Trauma Nurse Clinician in Loveland, Colorado
Description
3 years of registered nurse experience required. 3+ years of recent ICU, Flight nursing, Trauma intermediate care unit, or ED RN experience strongly preferred.

FTE: Full Time, 1.0, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)
Shift: Days
Pay: $40.86 - $63.33 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience
Summary:
Evaluates the activities and flow of work for trauma patients.
Responsibilities:
Implements and evaluates patient care plans based on patient assessment to optimize outcomes and maximize available resources. Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
Participates on multidisciplinary teams to collaboratively address program development, problem identification and resolution, cost containment issues, regulatory compliance, and systems/ performance/ outcomes measures.
Participates in the development, implementation, and evaluation of program services, practice standards, and initiatives, including program-specific committees, conferences, and staff/public education opportunities.
Serves as a resource to staff regarding clinical practice, policies, and program services. May provide direct patient care as needed to evaluate or assist with caring for patients.
Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.

Advanced Cardiac Life Support
Trauma Nurse Core Course
Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses
Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience.
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.
