We are seeking a Clinical Supervisor for the Hart House Program within our Addictions Division. Hart House is a residential recovery home for women and their children that provides services including: individual, family and group therapy, relapse prevention, parenting education and access/referral to community resources. The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for providing supervision and supporting staff to treat co-occurring disorders and trauma. The Clinical Supervisor will also conduct assessments and provide individual and group services to residents.

The ideal candidate possesses leadership and problem solving skills and is motivated to help clients meet their goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical supervision and crisis consultation to clinical staff and interns including monitoring caseloads and assigning new clients as appropriate.

  • Audit clinical documentation for quality, timeliness and compliance with regulations and program policies and procedures.

  • Provide training to ensure the use of evidence based practices.

  • Conduct assessments and individual and group counseling services.

  • Complete all clinical documentation in a timely manner.

  • Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings to discuss and develop strategies to maximize client’s continuation and compliance in treatment.

  • Review group treatment curriculum and develop new groups in response to the needs of the client population.

  • Develop and maintain working relationships with other representatives from other agencies including medication assisted treatment programs, primary health care, outpatient treatment providers and social services programs.

  • Adheres to federal and state regulations, contractual obligations and agency policies and procedures.

  • Participates in rotating weekend and after hours on call coverage.

  • Carry out supervisory responsibilities including: interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in clinical psychology, mental health counseling, psychology, rehabilitative counseling, social work or a closely related field required.

  • Independent license preferred (LICSW, LMHC, LADC I). Must be on track to obtain independent licensure prior to January 1, 2028.

  • Two years of supervised substance use disorder counseling experience and at least one-year full time equivalent of clinical experience in a supervisory role required. May be able to consider candidates without one year of supervisory experience if independently licensed.
