Description:
You will be the Production Engineering Senior Manager responsible for providing leadership and oversight to the Manufacturing Engineering and Test Engineering teams to manage the production and test engineering aspects of program execution, with a focus on quality, schedule, and cost.
This position is onsite full-time at our Lufkin, TX Operations facility, which has approximately 500 employees, who perform circuit card assembly, wire harness assembly, final assembly, integration and testing for several missile programs.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Production Engineering Senior Manager, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
• Lead a team of highly motivated Manufacturing, Test Engineers, and Test Technicians
• Establish personnel, equipment, and identify facility resources needed for execution of production deliverables.
• Establish and cultivate relationships with production and functional leadership teams to achieve all site and business area objectives.
• Develop and institutionalize standard processes and ensure best practices are communicated and utilized.
• Drive affordability and commonality initiatives aimed to reduce the cycle time of Production and Cost of Poor Quality.
• Establish an innovation culture, author and champion the site’s manufacturing technical roadmap and drive 1LMx initiatives to successful implementation.
• Ensure Engineering teams are staffed, ready, and execute on cost and schedule.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
• Experience in manufacturing, assembly, integration or related field
• Leadership experience, including experience leading cross-functional teams
• Experience communicating with multi-disciplined engineering teams
• Experience in developing and maintaining of effective relationships
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, or a related STEM field
• Previous Proposal, Basis of Estimate (BOE) and/or Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) experience
• Experience in creating and implementing manufacturing plans
• Must have the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship.
Desired Skills:
• Understanding of GD&T, and process specifications
• Experience supervising Final Integration and Test teams
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to change in a highly dynamic environment
• CAM Certification
• Capital and Direct Equipment Planning Experience
• Lean Six Sigma training or certification
• Awareness of new manufacturing and test technologies

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
