We’re seeking a dynamic Product Manager/Sr Product Manager to drive the success of the LUCAS product portfolio within Stryker’s Emergency Care division globally. Based at our Lund site in Sweden , where a highly cross-functional team develops and puts the LUCAS device on our global markets, you'll play a pivotal role in developing and executing the 5-year business strategy, driving new product development (NPD) projects, and managing the entire product life-cycle on a global level. Your responsibilities will also include coordinating and communicating the business strategy, analyzing profitability, and ensuring the success of our global product portfolio. Engaging with and supporting our global customers and markets will also be a key aspect of the role.

With a global scope, this position provides the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams both locally and internationally, ensuring our innovative solutions meet the needs of the emergency care market.

What you will do:

Customer Insights

  • Identify success drivers and unmet needs for strategy.

  • Research customer settings for product development.

  • Engage with key customers and sales reps.

Market Insights

  • Analyze portfolio performance and monitor competitors.

  • Align with global marketing on trends.

Business Insights

  • Assess portfolio profitability with finance.

Portfolio Strategy

  • Design research to inform strategic plans and communicate with stakeholders.

  • Collaborate on marketing strategies.

New Product Development (NPD)

  • Lead marketing activities in NPD, develop business cases, and present phase exits.

  • Conduct VoC evaluations and manage pre-commercialization.

Market Research

  • Research product ideas using CCD and VoC, summarizing findings into actionable insights.

Forecasting / IBP

  • Create demand forecasts and collaborate with supply chain for demand-supply alignment.

Product Life Cycle Management (PLCM)

  • Manage product life cycle and develop transition strategies.

Minimum Qualifications (Required):

• Bachelor’s degree required

• 6+ years of work experience required

Preferred Qualifications (Strongly desired):

• MBA preferred

• 3+ years medical device or marketing experience preferred

• Excellent presentation and interpersonal communications skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to manage multiple projects while delivering on established timelines

• Ability to be persuasive in the absence of organizational authority

• Must be able to understand and work within complex interdivisional procedures and policies

• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
