SPTC DEA team is looking for a highly analytical and result-oriented Business Analyst Manager to help build/enhance the global Compliance programs for millions of Customers and Sellers.

The ideal candidate works effectively in a cross-functional environment and is comfortable communicating with both technical and business stakeholders. This person uses data to guide decision-making, has strong business judgement, and can think creatively about new opportunities.

This position will partner with Anti Money Laundering and Operations teams to research, design and develop a framework enabling insightful analysis of the business to key stakeholders across the organization.

Your team will push traditionally accepted process boundaries and engineer automated scalable solutions leveraging Amazon Web Services (AWS) to seamlessly integrate BI tools.

Responsibilities of this position include:

• Hire, manage, and coach a team of Business Analysts and Business Intelligence Engineers.

• Strong leadership, vision and passion to build and drive a Business Intelligence team to create changes in business partnerships, analytics, and metrics/reporting.

• Drive the design, development and implementation of our Operations analytics to provide stakeholders with structured access to data.

• Champion proper adoption of self-service analytic tools and reporting environments.

• Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, and dashboards that monitor and to drive key business decisions.

Key job responsibilities

• Hire, manage, and coach a 2 pizza team of Business Analysts and Business Intelligence Engineers.

• Strong leadership, vision and passion to build and drive a Business Intelligence team to create changes in business partnerships, analytics, and metrics/reporting.

• Drive the design, development and implementation of our Operations analytics to provide stakeholders with structured access to data.

• Champion proper adoption of self-service analytic tools and reporting environments.

• Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, and dashboards that monitor and to drive key business decisions.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Technology, or a similar discipline with analytical bias

  • 6+ years of relevant work experience as a business analyst, financial analyst, or similar position requiring analysis including the use of SQL, Python or similar.

  • 4+ years of experience using data driven analytics to support business decisions

  • 4+ years of people management experience, analysts or similar technical positions

  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

  • Experience with business intelligence and data visualization and reporting tools (e.g. Tableau, Quicksight)

  • Experience creating presentations and documentation

  • Experience distilling problem definitions, models, and constraints from informal business requirements

  • Experience communicating and presenting to leadership or internal stakeholders

  • Experience interpreting and communicating analytics

  • Experience performing root cause analysis to uncover issues using data and reports

Preferred Qualifications

· Master’s degree in Finance, Business, Technology, or a similar discipline with analytical bias

· 2+ years of experience with data visualization and analysis tools (Tableau,Quicksight, Qlikview, etc)

· 3+ years of experience writing SQL

· Experience developing custom SQL to pull data to derive insights to be used to influence business decisions

· Experience building custom reports and analytics to support the direction of the business

· Experience providing recommendations based on results of analysis performed
