Description
Amazon seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to join the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team to drive business planning and reporting for the Global Standards & EMEA arm of the Global Engineering Services (GES) team. GES supports the greater Global Operations organization with end-to-end project lifecycle planning, design, execution, and integration of new build and retrofitted projects.
The finance lead will partner with the engineering leadership and team with an emphasis on identifying and supporting the team on driving efficiencies, synergies and productivity. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the most dynamic businesses at Amazon
The successful candidate will have demonstrated ability to influence business owners, support thoughtful decision-making, and adapt to a rapidly evolving environment. Regular collaboration with executives and various business units across Amazon will allow you the opportunity to exhibit your verbal and written communication skills. This role will partner closely with a broad range of Finance and Business leaders and will work on designing, developing, and maintaining Monthly Business Reviews, and reporting productivity drivers (Headcount). It also focuses on identifying areas of improvement in the reporting and analysis of business performance and working with relevant stakeholders to deploy solutions.
Key job responsibilities
Utilize solid financial knowledge and business acumen to build financial models and analyses with little guidance and draw conclusions and make recommendations that deliver results, and drive improvements
Manage development of monthly financial reviews, forecasting, and reporting models and their continuous innovation and communication to Financial and Business partners
Coordinating with Global Engineering Services business leaders and Central GES FP&A to prepare a business narrative to tie with the financial bridge
Identify and solve complex data integrity issues and collaborate with stakeholders on resolution, insisting on the highest standards.
Have ability to independently influence and drive outputs, meet deadlines, and set clear expectations and roadmaps.

Basic Qualifications
A degree
Relevant experience in a finance role leading a project or programme and partnering with multiple stakeholders within a business
Relevant experience working with Excel, reporting tools and large-scale data mining tools, such as Power BI, Python, SQL, or Tableau
Relevant experience in financial modelling
Preferred Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in finance, Mathematics, or Economics
Experience troubleshooting problems and offering solutions to streamline complex challenges
Experience of working in a large team or fast-paced, corporate environment
Experience of making strategic business decisions and manage internal relationships
