PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs general cleaning and maintenance of school facility including but not limited to sweep, scrub, mop, wax, and polish all types of floors; vacuums rugs and carpets, clean restrooms and classroom counters and sinks, remove trash. All basic cleaning tasks are required to maintain the school building, grounds, etc.
- Maintain building security by ensuring all doors and windows are secure, unauthorized occupants have exited the building.
- Maintain knowledge regarding emergency situations for water shut off gas, earthquake, lockdown, electrical, fire, etc.
- Clean up spills (including bodily fluids) in a safe and appropriate manner.
- Respond to requests of faculty to provide assistance for moving equipment/furniture
- Set up and take down for special events
- Ability to safely lift 50 pounds repeatedly
- Ability to safely maneuver power and manual cleaning tools and carry and use a backpack vacuum cleaner for extended periods of time
- Ability to bend, twist and reach shelves, lights, and areas over one's head
Performs rigorous and extensive cleaning of facilities during the summer
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
*Leave Replacement: * 07/29/2024 - 12/31/2024
*Hours: * 8 hours per day; 1:30 p.m. -- 10:00 p.m.; Monday through Friday
Starting Date: As Soon As Possible
Salary: $25.24 - $31.95 depending on school district custodial experience
