Job Description
Define, implement and support globally standardized Customer Service and European Distribution Center related Supply Chain processes through Project management, Change management and Lean thinking
Support the future growth of the organization by facilitating fast cross-functional change opportunities through increased process efficiency, quality, and transparency
Ensure maintenance and continuous improvement of the business systems, aligned with corporate ERP strategies
Role and Responsibilities
Data maintenance and analysis:
Master Data - Timely and accurate set up and in coordination with all relevant stakeholders (Operations, Quality, Planning, Customer Service, …):
Material Master maintenance including Windchill approvals, …
Monitor SAP and MES (Manufacturing Execution System) set up and take corrective and preventive actions based on monitoring activities
Coordinate activities related to ad hoc requests (globally)
Create and maintain PPR (Product Partner Range) records ensuring approved shipments to end-customers
Report on pre-defined KPIs. Identify appropriate actions when required and follow up on execution.
Service function related to business processes and systems:
Daily handling and coordination of requests and inquiries from EDC and EMEA/APAC Customer Service teams (including investigation, testing and feedback to initiator), ensuring order to billing completion:
Ensure timely shipment and invoicing by fixing system errors
Timely completion of all inquiries (work on older & new mails)
Keep size of mailbox under control (remove doubles/non-BPI related mails, engage BPI specialists as needed and follow up on completion, …)
Maintain interaction with IT and internal support teams
Approval of Security Requests
Guarantee month-end support to Customer Service and Supply Chain Operations
Incorporate support of new processes as a result from completed projects
Identify opportunities to make end-users self-reliant
Training:
Develop and maintain SAP & process training material for local and central use
Organize process and SAP training for (new) employees as well as refresher training
Business and System Analysis:
Assist other departments in aligning business processes with SAP, MES, and other system functionality
Implement smaller sized projects and perform process mappings
Compile IT requirements and business cases
Execution of test scripts related to fixes and enhancements
Internal organization:
Ensure consistent service is provided to users by keeping all team members up to date on ongoing activities, maintaining the internal knowledge database and establishing training within the department
Provide input to BPI team meetings
Maintain, report, and follow up on internal identified KPIs for the BPI department
Implementation of new or changed business processes:
Ensure a smooth implementation of the project deliverables into the business through change management and follow up on adoption success rate through identified reporting/KPI
Develop and maintain training material for local and central use
Organize process and SAP training for end-users within supported departments
Service function related to business processes and systems:
Independent handling and coordination of requests and inquiries from supported departments (including investigation, testing and feedback to initiator), ensuring timely order to billing completion
Periodical country visits to Abbott affiliates assisting in training, process analysis and business process improvements
Maintain interaction with L2 and L3 SAP support teams
Guarantee month-end support to Customer Service
Incorporate support of new processes as a result from completed projects

Monitor the ERP, BPI supported Automation tools and MES, guaranteeing data integrity of the system database. Take corrective and preventive action based on monitoring activity and pre-defined KPIs
Prepare and validate product traceability lists
Internal organization:
Ensure consistent service is provided to users by keeping all team members up to date on ongoing activities and establishing training within the department
Onboarding of new colleague within the department
Team representation in cross-functional meetings
Education & Experience
School or University qualifications
Bachelor or Master’s in Administration or equal by experience
Experience in an international environment is an asset
Natural abilities (team player, stress resistant, discretion, good communicator, etc.)
Customer and quality oriented Strong team player with supportive and positive attitude Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines Ability to analyze and improve business processes
Solid knowledge of ERP systems is an asset Fluent in English. Another language is an asset. Excellent communication and training skills Experience with common desktop applications (Microsoft office tools) Skilled at learning and applying new information quickly
