MADDOCK PUBLIC SCHOOL Elementary Teacher in Maddock, North Dakota
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Elementary Classroom Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a positive and engaging learning environment for students. You will play a key role in fostering academic and social development to lead a comprehensive educational experience.
Responsibilities:
Curriculum Development: Design and implement age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with ND statestandards.
Classroom Management: Establish a positive and inclusive classroom culture that encourages student participation, respect, and cooperation.
Instructional Delivery: Utilize varied teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles, ensuring all students have the opportunity to succeed.
Assessment and Evaluation: Regularly assess student progress and provide constructive feedback. Develop and administer quizzes, tests, and other evaluations to gauge understanding.
Parental Communication: Communicatewith parents and guardians to keep them informed about student progress, behavior, and upcoming events.
Individualized Instruction: Differentiate instruction to meet the unique needs of students, including those with diverse learning abilities and backgrounds.
Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other teachers, staff, and administrators to enhance the overall educational program. Attend meetings and participate in professional development opportunities.
Student Engagement: Employ creative and interactive teaching techniques to captivate students' interest and curiosity, making learning an enjoyable experience.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
- State certification or licensure as an Elementary Teacher
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
