Robert Half Human Resources (HR) Manager in Madison Heights, Michigan

Description

Our trusted client is seeking an Interim HR Manager Consultant for a long-term project. In this role, you will be required to apply your understanding of HR Law, address and solve problems, and lead projects to completion. This long-term engagement is located in Madison Heights and will report directly to the CFO.

The day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Lead and manage HR-related projects

• Apply knowledge of HR Law in daily operations and project execution

• Solve problems and devise strategies to reach project completion

• Utilize HRIS systems such as Paylocity or Workday for efficient HR management

• Maintain strong written communication skills for effective correspondence

• Ensure compliance with HR policies and regulations

• Manage employee relations and address any issues or conflicts that arise

• Oversee hiring processes to attract and recruit top talent.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have the following skill set:

• Proven work experience as a Human Resources Manager with a minimum of 7 years in the field

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Knowledge of legal compliance related to HR

• Experience in managing employee relations

• Proficiency in various hiring processes

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field is preferred

• HR certifications such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP will be an added advantage

• Ability to develop effective HR strategies and implement them at an organizational level

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and engage direct and indirect reports and peers

• Capacity to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

• Strong problem-solving abilities and capacity to make sound decisions

• High ethical standards and ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact.
