TEKsystems Desktop Support Analyst in Madison, Wisconsin
TEKsystems is hiring for a Desktop Support Analyst for a Madison based client. This person will provide escalated support to internal end users.
Top Skills & Experience:
Developing user documentation and conducting training (3 years)
Identifying, managing, troubleshooting, and resolving problems (3 years)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (3 years)
Proficiency with Microsoft Teams (1 year)
Experience with image deployment using Desktop Management Tools (SCCM) (1 year)
Familiarity with Microsoft Productivity suite of tools (3 years)
Preferred Skills:
Ability to assist in identifying training needs
Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory
Knowledge of mobile device performance monitoring and tuning techniques
Advanced problem resolution skills, including knowledge of Problem Management processes and procedures
Job Responsibilities:
Provide support to staff by addressing a wide range of IT questions and problems.
Support user-focused technologies and enhance user experience.
Engage in the technology lifecycle process and provide high-level service operation skills.
Innovate and research new technologies, integrate them, and support strategic initiatives.
Maintain ITIL-based frameworks for Problem, Incident, and Request fulfillment processes.
Analyze service support functions and service tickets to improve the IT environment.
Provide technical assistance for desktop services, customer systems, and hardware tools.
Collaborate with technology and business experts to plan and coordinate end-user service delivery.
Act as a liaison between business users and technical staff to facilitate problem-solving.
Develop user instructions, training materials, and service portals.
Other Details:
This person will need to come onsite 3 - 5 times per month in Madison, WI. Candidate should be local to Madison.
