TEKsystems Desktop Support Analyst in Madison, Wisconsin

TEKsystems is hiring for a Desktop Support Analyst for a Madison based client. This person will provide escalated support to internal end users.

Top Skills & Experience:

  • Developing user documentation and conducting training (3 years)

  • Identifying, managing, troubleshooting, and resolving problems (3 years)

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (3 years)

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Teams (1 year)

  • Experience with image deployment using Desktop Management Tools (SCCM) (1 year)

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Productivity suite of tools (3 years)

Preferred Skills:

  • Ability to assist in identifying training needs

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory

  • Knowledge of mobile device performance monitoring and tuning techniques

  • Advanced problem resolution skills, including knowledge of Problem Management processes and procedures

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to staff by addressing a wide range of IT questions and problems.

  • Support user-focused technologies and enhance user experience.

  • Engage in the technology lifecycle process and provide high-level service operation skills.

  • Innovate and research new technologies, integrate them, and support strategic initiatives.

  • Maintain ITIL-based frameworks for Problem, Incident, and Request fulfillment processes.

  • Analyze service support functions and service tickets to improve the IT environment.

  • Provide technical assistance for desktop services, customer systems, and hardware tools.

  • Collaborate with technology and business experts to plan and coordinate end-user service delivery.

  • Act as a liaison between business users and technical staff to facilitate problem-solving.

  • Develop user instructions, training materials, and service portals.

Other Details:

This person will need to come onsite 3 - 5 times per month in Madison, WI. Candidate should be local to Madison.
