Additional responsibilities will vary but may include cleaning and stocking rooms, providing administrative support, cleaning, and sterile processing of equipment, assisting with quality improvement projects, and additional duties as assigned.

The Ambulatory Clinical Support Technician is primarily responsible for assisting with tasks such as laboratory specimen collection, vaccine administration, and administrative activity for UPH-Meriter Clinics. Additional responsibilities will vary but may include cleaning and stocking rooms, providing administrative support, cleaning, and sterile processing of equipment, assisting with quality improvement projects, and additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
BLS
Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint software.
Demonstrated ability to handle highly confidential information.
Ability to communicate routine instruction to patients, public, or employees regarding tasks or procedures
Ability to work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision
Ability to ensure a high level of patient, visitor, employee, and external customer satisfaction
Effective organizational and planning abilities
Maintain a positive attitude in stressful situations
Willingness to use initiative and handle extra duties as needed
Ability to multi-task and work at a rapid pace
Ability to teach basic skills and techniques to peers
Willingness and ability to learn new tasks, procedures, and medication administration

Preferred Qualifications:
Associates Degree in a Health-Related Field
Clinical Healthcare Experience
Customer Service Experience
Certification in a Clinical Field such as Medical assistant, Nursing Assistant, EMT, Tech (PT, RT, Eye, ED), Athletic Trainer, or other Allied Health Discipline and/or student in a Health Discipline
Understanding of current OSHA and JCAHO regulatory requirements
Understanding of H
Knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint and Teams.
Usage of EPIC Software
