CAMECA INSTRUMENTS INC PRODUCTION SUPPORT ENGINEER in MADISON, Wisconsin
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Product Support Engineer: Install, maintain and repair high-tech scientific equipment at customer sites both domestic and international, providing technical support; rapid response to problems in the field; assistance with installation of systems; on-site inspections; factory testing of Atom Probe instruments and upgrades; and customer training. Manage knowledge base to increase productivity through FSE training, FSE skill evaluations, and training materials. Coordinate system testing of repaired parts. Provide support for in-house instruments. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor\'s degree/equivalent in Electrical Engineering or related field or 4 years\' training on military electronics equipment (through military service); and 3 years\' field service experience in high-tech scientific instruments, including vacuum systems; troubleshooting electrical and electromechanical systems; and working with optical components (lasers). 25% domestic and international travel.
