JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Summary: The Plant and Agroecosystem Sciences Department integrates plant sciences with agroecological approaches to create more resilient crops and landscapes in response to a changing climate and other global pressures placed on food-energy-water systems. The Ellison lab facilitates and conducts research and outreach activities that support the success of the emerging hemp industry in the Midwest. The Research Program Manager will be responsible for coordinating staffing, supplies, and equipment to meet the needs of the hemp breeding and genetics program. This position will support the program in budgeting, personnel, lab, greenhouse, and field management. The ideal candidate will have exceptional organizational, supervisory, and communication/interpersonal skills. They will also serve as an expert authority in hemp production and provide technical expertise through oral and written mediums.
