JOB REQUIREMENTS: Senior Procurement Analyst Job Locations US-WI-Madison \| US-WI ID 2024-2126 Category Legal & Compliance Type Regular Full-Time Overview Quartz is seeking a Sr. Procurement Analyst to join our legal team and who will oversee the Quartz procurement process. This individual would be responsible for preparing administrative plans, creating financial/budgetary analysis to review vendor spend, actively negotiate with vendors, and to administer contracts and purchase orders. The analyst will also develop and execute a sourcing strategy, evaluate product offerings, recommend suppliers, and will work closely with the Finance team to find opportunities to reduce overall administrative spend. Ideal starting salary based on skills and experience: \$83,800 - \$104,800 + robust total rewards package. Responsibilities Primary resource and subject matter expert in all phases of the procurement process. Coordinates efforts of the vendor management team and assists business owners in their decision-making process to successfully onboard new vendors in a timely manner, within scope and within budget. Collaborates with Quartz business owners to determine appropriate procurement approach that meets the business\' needs. Gathers business requirements and identifies and pre-qualifies potential third-party vendors. Develops and distributes RFPs/RFQs and collects bids or other information. Evaluates proposals/quotes based on offering quality, cost, or other criteria and recommends suppliers that are best suited to meet the organization\'s requirements. Ensures that all procurement activities comply with internal policies and external regulations. Identifies opportunities for reduction in costs and adherence to Service Level Agreements. Collaborates with Vendor Management Department. Evaluates vendors and reports on findings; identifies non-compliance and plans for resolution or restitution. Reviews and maintains database of vendor performance and quality of product(s) with business owners. Creates awareness of and compliance with Vendor Management requirements. Liaison between vendors and internal departments and ensure effective communication between all parties. Main contact for the third-party vendors, including communicating business requirements, answering questions, negotiating priorities and necessary changes procurement project, with final approval from Business Owner.
