Catalent Pharma Solutions Technician IlI Staging - Supply Chain in Madison, Wisconsin

The Technician IIl Staging – Supply Chain will perform daily work assignments accurately, in a timely and safe manner. The position will have sound technical aptitude and perform multiple projects at a time. This is a Lead role that will allow you to acquire the skills to work in a cGMP environment. The individual is expected to follow detailed instructions and established procedures minimal supervision.

The Staging Department is responsible for transferring raw materials or semi-finished goods from storage areas to production locations. Materials are staged for production at a certain time, in a particular quantity and at a designated staging area.

Shift: Wed-Sat 2pm-12am

The role:

  • Executes and properly documents cGMP Biomanufacturing activities.

  • Stages raw materials and components for use within cGMP Biomanufacturing.

  • Performs general housekeeping, equipment cleaning(s), disposal of trash and recyclables, and adherence to 5S standards. Completes inspections of GMP facility as needed.

  • Supports Biomanufacturing staff with proper completion of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Job Aids (JAs) as applicable.

  • Accurately cross-reference Bill of Materials against Inventory Management System.

  • Regular, reliable attendance and ability to work designated schedule, arriving on-time and communicating with your management team if you are unable to attend a scheduled work day.

  • Be open to collaborate with other departments. Actively participate in team meetings and training sessions.

  • Ability to work on a mobile device, DSI scanner, or in front of a computer screen for approximately 30% of a typical working day.

  • Maintain inventory of materials and supplies by accurately updating inventory spreadsheets and documents.

  • Using First Expired First Out (FEFO) basis: pick, stock, verify, identify inventory, or deliver materials as needed.

  • Lean Six Sigma: White Belt Certified.

The candidate:

  • High school Diploma or equivalent

  • Individuals with warehouse or other laborious experience preferred.

  • Prior experience operating scan guns preferred.

  • Prior cold storage material handling.

  • Prior pharmaceutical or food manufacturing/processing, & cGMP experience, preferred

  • Prior computerized inventory management system knowledge, JD Edwards knowledge preferred.

  • General lab equipment experience preferred.
