JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Summary: The University of Wisconsin Carbone Cancer Center and the Division of Hematology, Medical Oncology and Palliative Care seeks an academic physician in thoracic oncology, with a cancer research interest, to join our team. This is a clinical health services (CHS) opportunity for prospects seeking an Associate Professor or Assistant Professor position. Responsibilities of the candidate include clinical, research, and teaching (medical students, residents and fellows), and potential outreach service activities. The primary clinical practice includes inpatient, consult and ambulatory care at UW Hospitals and Clinics locations. Research responsibilities of the candidate include engaging in active collaborative clinical research on multi-disciplinary projects and will be encouraged to obtain/maintain extramural funding. Leadership opportunities may be available based on experience and interest.
