About Enterprise Capabilities

Enterprise Capabilities (EC) is a service-led organization within AECOM enabling access to a global talent pool. With offices in India, S. We are seeking a Delivery Planning Manager to join our Delivery Planning and Risk Management Team. This role requires the ability to navigate organizational dynamics and leverage strong communication skills. The role is responsible for identifying and assigning technical resources and delivery models to our projects, with a special focus on Micro-Teams. AECOM's Global Enterprise Capabilities team offers various delivery models to support our regional project teams. Micro-Teams are one of our models, consisting of small groups that support regional colleagues with the long-term delivery of multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessing Project Requirements: Evaluate and monitor regional project requirements, resourcing needs, and existing resource availability.

  • Collaborative Decision-Making: Work with Engagement Partners to determine when a Micro-Team or other delivery model is best suited to support a project.

  • Team Construction and Communication: Collaborate with EC General Managers to efficiently assemble Micro-Teams, especially for projects requiring resources from multiple locations or disciplines. Onboard regional teams taking on Micro-Team assignments, outlining processes and establishing expectations.

  • Onboarding : Support the onboarding of EC team members, developing the relationships necessary to support them through any delivery challenges.

  • Performance Monitoring: Design and manage processes to effectively monitor performance of Micro-Teams, focusing on utilization, collaboration, and effectiveness, and step in as an intermediary with regional department managers and/or EC department managers as needed to maintain productivity and effectiveness.

  • Reporting : Maintain and communicate data regarding secondments and members of each Micro-Team, including core members that will not be reassigned without formal (documented) discussion with regional partners.

  • Driving Customer Success : Through surveys and other methods of inquiry, ensure both the Micro-Team members or Secondees and the partnered regional teams are satisfied with the ongoing arrangements and step in to mitigate if issues arise.

  • Additional Duties: Perform other responsibilities as required with limited supervision.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who possess the following:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction, or a related technical field.

  • Experience: Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in the engineering or construction industry.

  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in MS Office tools.

  • Language Skills: Fluency in English, both oral and written.

  • Communication and Navigating Organizational Dynamics: Strong ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with a diverse audience, including the ability to engage with executives. The role requires leadership gravitas and comfort leading discussions with stakeholders that maintain strong and varying points of view and priorities.

  • Planning and Organizing: Skill in defining objectives and setting team targets in line with service delivery agreements, key performance indicators, and policies.

  • Attention to Detail: Demonstrated thoroughness and meticulousness in documentation.

  • Customer Service: Ability to maintain strong relationships and suggest improvements to enhance support and experience.

  • Strong preference for candidates with Enterprise Capabilities experience.
