This is a job for a Magee Feed Mill position with a company located in the Magee, MS area.
Mon - Friday 11 pm to 7 am Flexible scheduling required as work days/hours may change in the future. $17.20 hour plus $1.00 shift premium Must reside in 30 mile radius.
Job Summary: Ability to accurately record data. Ability be able to operate scales and document incoming ingredients through the ticketing system. Ability to operate equipment to unload feed ingredients and route to appropriate storage silo. Ability to operate computerize pelleting and batching systems to batch, pellet, and route finished feed based on run schedules. Ability to obtain and run quality analysis on required incoming ingredients. Ability to lift and use hand tools to assist in unloading of ingredients. Ability to perform minor maintenance duties using hand tools. Ability to operate loading equipment and ensure correct feed type is loaded and sent to the correct farm. Ability to organize/flex task and change priorities throughout the day. Ability to take Feed bin inventory. Able to work in hot, dry, dusty, wet and cold environments. Heavy exposure to ingredient dust and inclement weather. Ability to work holidays, we ekends, and flexible hours as required based on demand scheduling. Ability to work in elevated areas and follow all safety procedures. Able to sign and abide by the Company Biosecurity Guidelines including an agreement to avoid any avian species. Maintain good housekeeping including service areas. Communicate to all levels of Operations including Customers and Vendors both orally and in writing where required. Follow and Operate within all Tyson Health and Safety protocols. Able to Lift up to 60 lbs. and/or up to 100 lbs. with assistance. Stand, Sit, Walk, Climb Ladder/Stairs with the ability to sustain physical activity throughout the day. Complete all other tasks assigned by management.
Education: High school degree or equivalent.
Experience: Clerical experience and/or feed mill experience preferred, Knowledge of DOT trucking procedures preferred
Special Skills: Basic computer skills, Basic Math Skills, Communication Skills, Muti/Flex Tasking, Prioritization/Organizational Skills, Ability to certify and maintain PIT Certification, Ability to achieve and maintain respirator certification where applicable (ability to be clean shaven)and the Ability to certify and maintain a Boiler Certification.
