This is a Magee Feed Mill position located in Magee, MS.

Work Schedule: Mon - Friday 3pm to 11pm. Flexible scheduling required as workdays/hours may change in the future. $17.60 hour plus $1.00 shift premium. Must reside in 30-mile radius.

Job Summary: Operate the milling process at a feed mill to combine feed ingredients per a formula to provide a finish product for deliver to farms. Ability to accurately record data. Ability to operate computerize pelleting and batching systems to batch, pellet, and route finished feed based on run schedules. Ability to perform minor maintenance duties using hand tools. Ability to maintain operational levels of micro ingredients requiring manual filling of bagged ingredients. Ability to measure silos to take physical inventory. Able to work in hot, dry, dusty, wet and cold environments. Heavy exposure to ingredient dust and inclement weather. Ability to work holidays, weekends, and flexible hours as required based on demand scheduling. Ability to work in elevated areas and follow all safety procedures. Able to sign and abide by the Company Biosecurity Guidelines including an agreement to avoid any avian species. Maintain good housekeeping including service areas. Communicate to all levels of Operations including Customers and Vendors both orally and in writing where required. Follow and Operate within all Tyson Health and Safety protocols. Able to Lift up to 60 lbs. and/or up to 100 lbs. with assistance. Stand, Sit, Walk, Climb Ladder/Stairs with the ability to sustain physical activity throughout the day. Complete all other tasks assigned by management.

Education: High school degree or equivalent Experience: 1 year of feed mill experience preferred

Special Skills: Basic Math Skills. Communication Skills. Critical Thinking. Basic computer skill. Ability to certify and maintain PIT Certification. Ability to achieve and maintain respirator certification where applicable (ability to be clean shaven). Ability to certify and maintain a Boiler Certification.
