Do you have the ability to establish and maintain data processes, in short, capable of designing, implementing, and managing end-to-end data-related solutions? Then, we are looking for you. We are seeking an experienced Data Solutions Specialist / Power BI Developer with a passion for delivering advanced, data-driven insights. As an essential member of our team, you will be responsible for the complete technical design, development, and maintenance of Power BI dashboards, serving as crucial tools for informing and shaping our business decisions.
Responsibilities:
1. Dashboard Development:
Architect, design, and develop visually appealing and functionally robust Power BI dashboards aligned with business objectives.
Utilize advanced features and techniques within Power BI to create dynamic and interactive reports.
2. Dataset Development:
- Develop and maintain robust datasets, collaborating with regional data engineers to ensure the integrity, accuracy, and efficiency of underlying data.
3. Data Analysis:
Conduct comprehensive data analyses on large datasets, employing statistical and data visualization techniques to derive actionable insights.
Translate complex analytical findings into understandable and compelling stories for diverse audiences.
4. Maintenance and Optimization:
Monitor and assess the performance of existing datasets and dashboards, proactively identify areas for optimization and improvement.
Implement optimizations to enhance the efficiency and responsiveness of dashboards.
5. Documentation:
- Create detailed documentation for processes, solutions, and best practices to facilitate knowledge sharing.
Qualifications - External
Requirements:
Experience with Power BI, including a proven track record in designing and developing complex dashboards and datasets.
In-depth knowledge of data modeling concepts and proficiency in building and maintaining datasets.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
Proficiency in SQL, DataIKU, and other relevant database languages.
Self-motivated and able to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a team.
Demonstrated success in delivering Power BI projects from concept to completion.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
Minimum of a bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in developing Power BI dashboards and datasets.
