Job Description
The opportunity
The Actuarial Director for Planning and Analysis is responsible for leading the company’s financial plan exercise, monthly/quarterly expense management, and dividend review and par management. In addition, the role will also be supporting adhoc requests related to Distribution Promos Costing among others.
Responsibilities
Financial Plan
Lead the actuarial portion of the business plan exercise (core earnings, NB CSM, capital remittances)
Liaise and provide support on expense allowable planning and forecasting and general expense management
Dividend Review
- Lead the review of the annual par management and dividend review exercise, including recommendation and system implementation (if required)
Distribution Support and other Ad Hoc initiatives
Actuarial support on various business cases relating to strategy
Provide pricing support for promo costing initiatives by the company for its various distribution channels
Other ad hoc initiatives as they materialize

What we are looking for
Graduate of bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or Statistics
Associate of the Actuarial Society of the Philippines/Society of Actuaries
Strong analytical, communication, relationship, and time management skills
Personal qualities of integrity, credibility and strong work ethic
Proficient in Microsoft Office and AXIS Actuarial Software (preferably)
