Claims Supervisor

What the day will look like

  • Colleague will be assigned in Claims Management Team who will be responsible on Claims Data Collection, Claims Reports and Data Analytics, making sure of its accuracy and completeness. Colleague will also handle and facilitate straight forward minor non-motor claims.

  • Will be responsible in making sure that all newly reported claims are immediately entered in the claims system.

  • Upon receipt of claims notification from client Acknowledge claims and provide next steps and notifications in 48 hours

  • Triage / pre-screen claims received to identify if the claim will be handled by Claims Management Team or Advocacy Team

  • Request account management handler to provide account details i.e., Policy Cover/Number, Insurer, Nominated Adjuster, Premium Payment status and any special terms and claims handling instructions.

  • notify all insurer(s) and/or related parties (e.g., third party administrators) cc: assigned CE and secure acknowledgement of claims insurer.

  • Record the claim in CRP.

  • Provide status update to client and include unique Aon claim reference ID which can be used by client for status tracking throughout the lifecycle of the claim.

  • For more complex notifications, communicate and agree next steps with client.

  • Ensure that the assigned CE updates CRP regularly (at least once a month) on the status of claim.

  • Generate reports and do the data analytics requirement of the clients and management.

  • Monitor aging of claims.

  • Coordinates with Insurer on loss ratio and validate accuracy of the report.
