What the day will look like

  • Responsible for managing and oversight of a team who perform both collections and premium funding activities for the Australia Business.

  • Day to day communication and interaction with key internal and external stakeholders

  • Responsible for handling client and business escalations, exception processing, client specific updates to desktop tools and training. Is the day-to-day resource on client policies, processes, and provisions. Applies company policies and procedures to deliver varied technical and professional activities and to resolve issues that are generally similar in nature.

  • Role Complexity: Works on assignments that are semi-routine in nature where established practices, procedures and precedents guide the work. Able to follow procedures and investigate issues in order to solve problems.

  • Discretion: Decisions are based on acquired skills and knowledge as opposed to applying discretion and judgment.

  • Due to different situations encountered, Incumbent has latitude to consider which procedure to use.

  • Incumbent typically carries out own research to make recommendations. Interaction: May have extensive interaction with internal and external clients to identify, research and resolve problems. Supervision/Leadership: Receives general instructions and follows defined procedures.

  • Manages daily work within established guidelines and receives general instructions on newly introduced assignments. Competencies, Knowledge, and Experience: Individual with knowledge of the principles and practices within a technical/ professional discipline.

    Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • Minimum 2-3 years of People Leadership experience directly managing teams

  • Strong communication skills and ability to impact and influence others

  • Background in Financial Services industry or with Account Receivable experience

  • Ability to manage change and drive operational performance through KPI’s

  • Possesses advanced analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills and abilities.
