Manulife Virtual Connect Operation Engineer in Makati City, Philippines

The opportunity

To perform daily health, check Scripted/Manual to ensure uptime and availability of AVD/Citrix related services

What we are looking for

  • Experience with VDI technologies such as Azure Virtual Desktop/W365 (Primary Skill) and Citrix (Secondary Skill), including image management, deployment, monitoring and maintenance. Extensive knowledge of AVD

  • Good understanding of the Microsoft Azure platform and experience of Azure Virtual Desktop deployment and management

  • Exposure on installing, configuring, and troubleshooting AVD Stack and client issues

  • Has good understanding of the concepts of RemoteApp, Microsoft Windows 10/11 MultiSession OS, Host Pools, AVD related OUs and FsLogix for best performance and reliability

  • Experience in Monitoring & Troubleshooting issues using Azure Desktop Insights, NewRelic etc.

  • Nice to have - Experience with Terraform Cloud, IDE Platforms, Powershell and Azure DevOps & tools like Nerdio

  • Nice to have – Experience with deployment technologies like Intune and SCCM
