Primary Responsibilities:
Lead and manage all aspects of physical security operations to protect UHG assets, personnel, and information across Manila, Cebu, and Davao. There are 13 sites across Philippines with FTE count of 26K
Support growth of business in existing cities or new cities by building scalable security models
Seamless integration of acquired entities in the region
Conduct risk assessments, develop mitigation strategies, implement them. Ensure compliance with corporate policies, regulations, and law of the land
Oversee security investigations, incident response, and crisis management protocols
Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement security policies, procedures, and training programs
Manage security budget, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure efficient resource allocation
Maintain Solid relationships with local authorities, security vendors, and professional security forums
Support ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 compliance efforts and participate in audits
Manage vendor relationships to ensure service delivery meets agreed-upon standards and KRA’s
Actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) programs from physical security perspective
Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:
Minimum 10 years of experience in physical security or facility management, with security as a core responsibility.
Experience of managing physical security for multiple sites
Proven ability to manage security operations across multiple locations in the Philippines
Solid leadership skills to manage a team of full-time employees and contracted security personnel
Proven excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills
Budget planning, expense tracking, and vendor management expertise
Proficient in training and awareness program development and delivery
Working knowledge of physical security systems (ACS, CCTV, Lenel preferred) and fire safety
Understanding of risk assessment and management principles
Familiarity with ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 audit frameworks
Basic project management skills in the security domain
Proven abilities to include quality and metrics driven security operations
Preferred Qualifications:
Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university plus certifications courses in physical security domain
Defense/police or intelligence background
