Job Description:
L3Harris is searching for Test Engineering Technician candidate to join the L3Harris team where the candidate will support production and Depot testing, troubleshooting and fault isolation.
Essential Functions:
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings or schematics to perform work duties
Work with little to no supervision using a prescribed set of processes and procedures
Work directly with engineers optimizing test processes and procedures
Lean, continuous improvement mindset
Component level troubleshooting and fault isolation.
Possess a positive attitude and the ability to work in a team environment
Strong attention to detail
Qualifications:
Requires fully proficient job knowledge/skills. Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and schematics
Preferred Additional Skills: (These are additional skills and experience that would be preferred in ideal candidates but not a deal breaker)
Good computer skills (Microsoft Windows and Office)
Professional attitude and excellent verbal/written communication skills
Ability to work occasional weekend, off-shift, and overtime work.
