MSPCC a division of Eliot, is seeking a Mental and Behavioral Health Coach that has experience working with young children with challenging behaviors and/or mental health issues.
Our Early Childhood MH Consultation program works with early education, care, out of school programs & families to respond to the social-emotional, behavioral & mental health needs of children. Early assessment, through classroom observations, standardized tools & family meetings, facilitates the implementation of strategies that aim to improve social-emotional development. Strengthening the collaboration between parents & childcare providers ensures the best results for children in the home & school environments.
Responsibilities :
Develop and maintain positive relationships with childcare programs and families
Provide behavior coaching on site at childcare programs/family child care homes for young children with challenging behaviors
Provide support and modeling regarding behavior management strategies
Provide support, training, and resources regarding classroom management techniques
Assist in the development and implementation of individual behavior support plans
Access resources to appropriately answer questions and provide guidance to staff and parents
Provide information, written resources, and referral information to assigned cases
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9am-5pm or 8am-4pm
Rate: $22.59/hour

Education
Required
- Bachelors or better in Psychology
Licenses & Certifications
Required
- MA Driver's License
Experience
Preferred
- 2 years: Experience working with young children with challenging behaviors and/or mental health issues
