Summary of Role:

Provide streamlined tapeout and mask services. Provide on time delivery of photomask sets to the from customer design-in through data preparation.

Essential Responsibilities:

Provide streamlined tapeout and mask services. Provide on time delivery of photomask sets to the from customer design-in through data preparation. Manage and drive frame generation tapeout schedule to meet customer requirements. Problem solves, plans, and tests all parts of the tapeout through mask build flow. Engages in pre-tapeout design flow. Proactively anticipates customer needs and plan to build in the capacity for the support. Provide technical support to field engineering, customer engineering, and process owners. Champion and drives continuous improvement programs for tapeout requirements. Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs. Work and collaborate on other projects and/or assignments as needed. Train and guide others in the own work area on technical skills as needed. Have ability to break down information for internal and external customers in a systematic and communicable manner. Participate in and/or leads (project) teams Relationship Focus Limited and supervised contact at engineering level. Maintain awareness of industry trends. Actively engage with suppliers (demos, in-house work). Attend consortia technical reviews. Telecommuting available.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education – Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field of study.

  • Experience – 1 year of experience in job offered, as a Software Engineer, Research Assistant, or related role in software engineering. Requires one year of experience in: (1) scripting languages, including Python and Perl; (2) shell programming, such as Bash or CSH; and (3) Linux. Must have experience in or knowledge of (4) C/C++ or Java and (5) developing machine learning relations to help software development. Experience or knowledge may be gained through graduate degree coursework, co-op, or internship. Telecommuting available.

Salary range: $107,516 – $142,000
