Internship Program Overview:
Our Interns & Co-ops are our entry-level talent pipeline for GF across the globe. Our goal is to provide students with meaningful work experience that will equip them with the skills to embark on a career in the fast-paced and growing semiconductor industry after graduation. As an intern at GF, you’ll experience one-on-one mentorship, work assignments that prioritize your growth and potential, professional development opportunities, and the chance to network with executives.
Summary of Role:
Assist with day-to-day activities supporting a transformation program, Phoenix, and its key projects at GF, focusing on executing key activities and tasks across multiple workstreams. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, organized, and agile in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Responsibilities include:
Work under the guidance of a Project or Program Manager on technology or business initiatives.
Assist with capturing/updating project plans, stakeholder communications, requirements gathering, and reporting.
Gather data and prepare reports on project estimates, status, and management.
Gain exposure to department functions.
Other Responsibilities:
- Perform activities safely and support Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements.
Required Qualifications:
Education - At least a sophomore at time of application and actively pursuing a Bachelor's or Master’s in Business, IT, Program Management, or related field through an accredited degree program during the time of internship.
Minimum 3.0 GPA and good academic standing.
Fluent in English (written & verbal).
Ability to work 40 hours per week during the internship.
Willingness to travel up to 10%.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior internship or co-op experience.
Demonstrated prior leadership experience in the workplace, school projects, competitions, etc.
Project management skills, i.e., the ability to innovate and execute solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong planning & organizational skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to draw business conclusions.
Attention to detail is a must.
