Cloud Security Engineer, Specialist (The Vanguard Group, Inc. / Malvern, PA) -- Build mission critical application for company with latest technology, deploy enterprise applications develop in both monolith and cloud-based platforms part of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) day-to-day activities using front end, back end, and middleware technologies; create Automation Testing, Manual Testing, Bug bashing the developed code before and after production release; attend Business/IT meetings and Scrum meetings with IT and Business teams; document requirements from Business team and create stories for two--week sprint work; work closely with business personnel to gather requirements and user stories for developing enterprise solutions; provide application support after production release to fix any live production issues; provide training to ensure staff keep up with Industry Security Standards. Requires Master's in Computer Science, Information Technology, or closely related IT field and two years of experience in job offered or in IT position(s) including Java Developer and/or Full Stack Java Developer and/or Full Stack Developer; or Bachelor's and five years of experience. Background in education, training or experience must include Kong, AWS services (ECS, DynamoDB, Lambda, EC2, S3, Glue); DevOps concepts, tools and continuous delivery pipelines - Bamboo, Jenkins, Maven, Bitbucket, Jira, Honeycomb/Splunk and CloudWatch; API design standards, patterns, and frameworks (e.g., REST, GraphQL, OpenAPI, OAuth, Spring); test automation and test-driven development practices and frameworks -- mutation testing, functional testing (JUnit, Cucumber), mock frameworks (Mockito), contract testing; Mobile Development, IOS and Android, Java, .Net, C++. Company operates on hybrid model with three days in office and work-from-home available two days.
