Position Description
Job Summary
CertainTeed R&D is seeking a talented, and energetic Research Engineer to join the team. The individual in this role will design, run experiments, produce lab-scale samples, operate pilot equipment, and analyze the experimental outcomes. In addition to designing experiments for the individual’s primary projects, the individual will be expected to conduct experiments to support projects led by others.
Main responsibilities include :
Utilizes basic scientific or engineering principles and techniques to undertake specific tasks and projects with limited scope.
Manages and documents projects effectively with supervision.
Demonstrates an open and collaborative approach in all areas of responsibility.
Seeks out others to enhance and streamline development and decision-making.
Incumbent will be required to submit technical reports on project progress and results
Required Qualifications
BS Degree in an engineering/science discipline.
Co-op or intern experience in a laboratory setting is a plus.
