About Walters Hot Dogs: Walters Hot Dogs is a cherished Westchester institution and a nationally registered historical landmark, proudly serving our world-famous hot dogs since 1919. We are expanding our team and are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join us at our White Plains and Mamaroneck locations, as well as on our food trucks catering to events across the region.
Position Overview: As a Team Member at Walters Hot Dogs, you will provide exceptional service to our customers. We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and friendly individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about delivering high-quality food and service. Requirements: Experience: Previous experience in the food service industry is a plus, but not required. Guest and Team Interaction: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Time Management: Reliable, punctual, able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks. Physical Ability: Must be able to stand for extended periods.
Key Responsibilities: Customer Service: Greet and assist customers with a positive attitude, ensuring they have a memorable experience. Food Preparation: Prepare and serve food items according to our standards, maintaining consistency and quality. Cash Handling: Operate the cash register, handle transactions accurately, and manage customer orders efficiently. Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized work area, including dining spaces and kitchen, following all health and safety regulations. Teamwork: Collaborate with fellow team members to ensure smooth operations and a positive work environment. Product Knowledge: Stay informed about menu items, specials, and promotions to assist customers effectively.
