Business Operations Analyst II

Position Overview

At Aurora Flight Sciences, we design, build, and fly advanced aircraft and enabling technologies from concept to reality. We are searching for a talented and self-motivated Business Operations Analyst II to help us create the future of flight. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

Responsibilities

-Support both programs and proposals with estimating, metrics generation, and analysis

-Work to support the program management processes and tools

-Coordinate and interface with other functions, such as finance, scheduling, supply chain, IT, contracts, etc.

-Work closely with program managers and technical leads to:

-Develop basis of estimate (BOE) to support proposal estimating

-Coordinate with Supply Chain and Contracts to solicit and evaluate supplier quotes and subcontract proposals

-Work in tandem with finance and scheduling to align program forecasts

-Identify project tracking metrics (ex. Drawing release s-curves) and work with technical team to baseline and maintain

-Initiates and leads sessions to collect inputs from program team to support external and internal deliverables

-Work with PM on program RIOs, proactively identify risk areas and mitigation plans, and coordinate program RIO review boards

-Assist program manager, CAMs, and scheduler with regular planning cycles

-Setup and maintain projects in SAP

-Facilitate project status updates with the support of the PM, CAMs, finance, and scheduler based on monthly value earned for each task and assessment of remaining work to be performed

-Collect and report actual labor during project execution

-Track invoices and open commitments and research problems with billing/payment

-Update project tracking metrics on a regular basis

-Report Generation:

-Support the generation and delivery of internal and external technical and programmatic reports and review slides

-Extract various reports from enterprise tools to support management reviews

Minimum Requirements

-Bachelor’s degree and 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and -experience (e.g. Master+1 years' related work experience , 7 years' related work experience, etc.)

-Advanced proficiency in Microsoft tool suite

-Demonstrated understanding of Earned Value (EV) management principles and their application to complex projects

-Must be a U.S. Person

Preferred Requirements

-Experience with setup and management of enterprise tools

-Basic Programming skills

-Development/Manufacturing in Aerospace Industry

Physical Requirements

-Must be able to support occasional travel

Salary Range (Annualized USD)

  • Minimum Range: $61,000.00 to $109,000.00

  • Maximum Range: $61,000.00 to $109,000.00
