Position Overview

At Aurora Flight Sciences, we design, build, and fly advanced aircraft and enabling technologies from concept to reality. We are searching for a talented and self-motivated Intern- Mechanical and Propulsion to help us create the future of flight. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

Responsibilities

We Are Seeking Individuals With:

-Mechanical, Systems, Robotics, Flight Physics, and Structures Engineering or related experience.

-A strong academic record.

-Experience contributing to a team in a fast-paced, competitive and self-directed environment.

-The duration of an internship typically lasts 10 weeks in:

Manassas, VA Headquarters, Engineering and Product Development

Minimum Requirements

-Enrollment in Bachelor’s program with a focus in Engineering or a related field

-Experience contributing to a team in a fast-paced/comparative and/or self-directed environment

-Background knowledge in one of the following areas:

Aerospace/General Aviation

Aerostructures

Robotics

Mechanical Systems

Propulsion

-Must be a US Person

Preferred Requirements

-Enrollment in a Master’s or PhD program

-Participation in extracurricular activities
