CTTX Health Medical Surgical Tele Registered Nurse - Travel in Manchester, Connecticut

Travel Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical Tele - 4 x12 hr nights $2750/week

Are you a skilled and adventurous Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in medical-surgical tele nursing? CTTX Health is currently seeking a Travel Medical Surgical Tele RN to join our team for an exciting travel assignment! As a travel nurse, you will have the opportunity to explore new places while providing high-quality patient care.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, monitoring and interpreting vital signs, and administering medication to patients in the medical-surgical tele unit. We are seeking a detail-oriented individual with strong clinical skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Qualifications and Experience

  • Valid RN license in the state of practice.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical surgical tele nursing.

  • BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred.

  • Experience with monitoring equipment and telemetry interpretation.

  • Excellent clinical skills and ability to handle a diverse patient population.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience using electronic medical records systems.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs, assessing patients, and administering medication.

  • Interpret telemetry results and detect any abnormalities.

  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.

  • Monitor, record, and report changes in patients' conditions.

  • Educate patients and their families about their conditions and treatment plans.

  • Ensure the privacy and confidentiality of patient information.

  • Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and guidelines.

  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment, following infection control and safety protocols.

  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance clinical knowledge and skills.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Nurse Manager or supervising physician.
