Our Systems Engineers do a lot of amazing things, but for this role in particular you will:
Design security architectures based on requirements from your analysis of adversary threats and proposed countermeasures
Implement and test security countermeasures according to the guidance provided by the U.S. Government
Work with Security State of the Art (S-SOTA) technologies
Provide our customers with sophisticated, defense-in-depth security solutions
Because of the need for consistent, in person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed fulltime on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
This role involves understanding systems engineering techniques and processes and requires a bachelor s degree plus eight or more years of work experience.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
We are very interested in candidates with any of the following experience:
Cryptographic algorithm implementation
Configuring security features of Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) S-SOTA components
Firmware development for COTS S-SOTA components such as Xilinx or Microsemi FPGAs
Applying secure coding practices, securing operating systems, and virtualization
Implementing and configuring security protocols
Model-Based Systems Engineering using Cameo or MagicDraw
Developing positive customer relationships
Product design development and design analysis for manufacturability and maintainability
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $126610 - $215270
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
