Job Description

CASI, Cruise Administration Services Inc, a Carnival Cruise Line entity in the Philippines currently has a System Support Analyst role available.

Job Summary:

This role is a CATO applications SME that provides first level support for the CATO application users, mainly CPS, and overall administration of the permissions and other supporting configurations to keep the systems up to date. The job holder is responsible for inquiries and issues that are specific to the product or the application’s front end/user interface. The job holder works under the direction of the CATO shoreside systems support team to assist in the following areas: Production & Non-production Issues, Systems Administrations (Password Reset, Data Entry, Content & Configurations ), Reporting & Analytics, UAT, Communications & Coordination.

Essential functions:

  • UAT

Create and maintain User Acceptance Test (UAT) and General Functionality Test (GFT) scripts, in accordance with regulatory requirements .

Perform UAT and GFT testing prior to the implementation of new releases, reporting system issues as necessary

Conducts Post Deployment Testing (PDT) and identifies concerns with system deployments

  • Systems Administration

Assist in provisioning/deprovisioning of users in CATO applications

Assist in general onboarding of users from access, systems, mailbox perspectives

Reset user passwords as needed only

Update user guides and other supplementary training materials

Systems administrations configurations (overall systems management configurations to tune system functionality)

  • Level 1 – End User Support

Monitor system mailboxes and provide first level support, referring users to technical Support Desk when appropriate

Triaging, root cause analysis, documentation, incident tickets and escalations

Answer user’s questions and concerns and guide them on best practices for using the application

Provide training as needed for end users

Provide weekly reports on outstanding issues or system admin requests

  • Data Entry:

Both manually and in working with IT support for requests that require backend processes

Run reports and proactively analyze data

Examples for data entry in CPS app:

-Bulk entry requests – manually or working with IT to upload through backend

-Update fleet itineraries

-Enter Pay Position changes

-Create new Positions

-Enter “Special Ship Schedules”

-Update “manning budgets” for each ship

-Running reports in CPS

Provide entries in support of various operations groups (travel, schedulers, talent acquisition, agencies) as needed.

  • Contribute to enhancements and roadmap

Liaises with management, Information Systems, and other departments to provide feedback and escalate system issues

Assist with CATO systems initiatives and projects as needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred. 2 to 3 years of experience in relevance to the role.

  • Positive outlook, attention to details, good written and oral communication skills to be able to handle different nationalities, “go getter”, a passion for solving technical issues
