Job Title: Burn Table Operator
Job Description
Perform duties related to steel identification, inventory management, programming, and prioritization of CNC Plasma and Oxy-Fuel cutting tables.
Hard Skills
Program CNC nests for Plasma and Oxy-Fuel cutting tables
Adjust processes such as travel speed, tip size, tip replacement, gas pressures, kerf compensation, and torch height
Identify raw material size and grade requirements
Support management and optimization of flat steel plate inventory
Read blueprints and engineering drawings to determine tolerances
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Use and understand measuring instruments such as tape measure, protractor, and micrometer
Soft Skills
Robust analytical skills with exceptional reasoning abilities
Ability to make sound decisions with a variety of information
Ability to communicate successfully across functions and at varying levels
Ability to work on more than one project at a time and switch gears successfully
Job Type
This is a permanent position.
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Manitowoc, Wisconsin.
Work Environment
